Teletherapy - I ask that a parent / carer be present in the room or at least within sight/sound of the session.
I may record therapy sessions but this is only for the purposes of assessment or therapy (e.g. if needed for parental feedback or adult:child interaction observation).

I have a statutory duty to report any suspected neglect or abuse of a child or vulnerable adult to the local authority safeguarding services.
I will usually discuss this with the family/carer or organisation prior to making a report unless this is deemed to pose further danger to the child or adult.
Infection control.
I ask that children /adults do not attend a therapy or assessment session if they have an infectious illness e.g. within 48 hours of diarrhoea and/or vomiting. Any family experiencing symptoms of Covid19 must follow the current government guidelines.
I refer to the current government guidelines for infection control.
I will also not attend a therapy session if I have an infections illness.
I will follow any government guidance re PPE and other infection control procedures to ensure the safety of others from CoVid19. I ask that families follow the government guidance too plus any requests for infection control by the therapist. These will be given in advance where appropriate.
NB Currently I am only providing online support and advice.
Obviously this may not apply to a Teletherapy session.
